God has blessed me with a life much more than I could ever imagine. As a young boy I grew up in Cincinnati, OH and moved with my family to Kentucky in 1985. During my senior year in high school I felt the leading of the Lord to go to Asbury College in Wilmore, KY. Upon graduating from Asbury in 1996, with a Bachelors in Business Management, I married my college sweetheart.
Throughout my twenty-six year professional career, I have worked with various companies in the financial services sector. I am currently in compliance management in Branch Exams. Since 2003, I have served on more than 17 boards in various leadership positions throughout my community. Through that experience I have learned the importance of moderation, and not accepting every offer to serve that comes along.
I have been blessed to both be awarded the Kentucky Colonel and the Kentucky Admiral. In 2005 I was awarded the “Diplomat of the Year” by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, and in 2008 was named “Alumnus of the Year” by Leadership Shelby. In 2009, I was also awarded an official Citation by the Kentucky House of Representatives for my community involvement.
I have been blessed to be married to my college sweetheart for almost 26 years, and have three beautiful children, and a grandson. We enjoy taking vacations and spending time as a family. Although I am a manager in Branch Exams in the securities industry by trade, my fiery passion in life is being a servant for Jesus Christ. I am always looking for opportunities to minister the Gospel. A few years ago the Lord impressed upon my heart to write a book about my personal testimony and relationship with Jesus Christ, which led me to publish my book: “To Be Continued…An Ordinary Man on an Extraordinary Journey.”
