Even more painful to me is when you hear your kids saying things you know you have never uttered in there presences. We all like to think we can control the world surrounding our kids and the not so pleasant influencies. Society has a way of attempting to turn the work of the Lord away from his great works. I have suffered from lapses in faith. Yet I always knew he was there waiting for me. The actions or in-actions of our youth today worry me. I have heard things like thanks for all the world issues what kind of life will we have. None of the kids have ever said wow we have work to do. For me this is very similar to someone saying I would run across the border before I defend this nation. God and the willingness to defend what you believe in formed this country. we all have to learn to be thankful and honor the freedom we have to worship such a loving God.
